I have been working hard to line up a few charities for my 5% cash back program and I decide that local is best. I'd like to announce the first charity of the year as The Save the Kindness Society.

My #sellmoregivemore program allows clients to take 5% cash back from the transaction themselves or donate it to a local charity on my list. You can learn more about it here in my blog post about client rewards.

SavetheKindnessI have met a lot of amazing women these past few years as I have branched out my Kelowna business and Jodi Quibell is one of them. Jodi is a writer and editor by career, a mother and wife, and a strong advocate for families. Jodi is also a friend of mine.

Jodi always had dreams of managing her own non-profit and last year her dreams came true. Jodi started The Save the Kindness Society and helps organize events that help families in need. She is someone I admire for all the work she has done for our community and I am constantly bugging her to help with her events. I wish her much success this year and for many years to come.

Most recently Jodi prepared Christmas Eve kits for children whose parents were not in a financial position to buy presents for Christmas. Another annual event Jodi organizes is Food for Gifts. She collects donations all year round then has a garage sale type event where people use food to buy things from the sale - the food gets donated to whatever organization Jodi chooses like the Food Bank or Salvation Army.

Later this month Jodi's charity will be the first to receive a donation from my program.

The Save Kindness Society:

The Save Kindness Society exists to help those who help others. Our society endeavours to provide organizations with much needed resources, through fundraising events, advocacy, and awareness campaigns.
